Nothing could go wrong when a 9 and 10 year old are given the controls of a WWII era amphibious landing craft, right? Well, nothing went wrong this time, and they drove us around the lake like there were no roads to follow!


Riding through the hills and hollars

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair … wait that’s a different spot. Let’s try again. On a paved Branson highway, cool wind in my hair. Warm smell of a suntan, rising up through the air.

We’re riding on the Ducks here in Branson – a vehicle designed for use in WWII to go from land to water and back … and they’re still in service offering great fun out on Table Rock or Taneycomo Lake in Branson.

Pickin’ and Grinnin’

Just as anybody does, Bruce Lee had a hankerin’ for some good ‘ol pickin’ and grinnin’ so where better to get your fix than in Branson with the Baldknobbers. Bruce may even have some distant family ties to the old Baldknobber gang, but that’s for another post.
